It's Getting Closer
Elder Hezseltine and I went and picked up 2 of the 3 NEW mission
vehicles. We will be so prepared when we officially become a mission all
our own on July 1. I drove the truck to the District Center. It was fun
and a little scary to drive a vehicle with 9 km on the odometer. We are
not sure who the Hilux truck is for but I think it should be for the
most senior (in time spent in Liberia not age) of the couples - oh, that
would be us!!!!
The bus (it is not a van!) seats 15 and I think is smaller than the
truck in length and width. It will be so nice when we have to pick up 6
- 10 people from the airport. In the past we have taken as many as 3
vehicles (that is all the vehicles we have). Elder Hezseltine drove the
bus to the District Center and reported that it is easier to drive than a
truck!!
